Welcome to my world of paper creations, from my studio in Sweden. My style is eclectic and has been influenced by my travels, meeting and working with creative talent all over the world and having a scrapbooking and invitation store in Canada for many years. My hope is that you find something here that gives a starting point for your own creations. I love to mix my old classics with new and I hope you will too.
Distress Stains and Card Class Planning
It is so fun to come up with ideas to use different mediums and tools for classes. These are a few of the samples I am playing around with right now. Keep in mind, some of the cards are meant to introduce basic tools and techniques to participants.
Have fun with Pattern papers and do not be afraid to be bold with a variety of pattern papers. In this Kitchen inspired cards I used paper from Basic Grey.
Distress Stains do not have to be intimidating. Here I used them as a simple background. Make sure you let the stain fully dry before you stamp images.
Using distress stain card-stock and them stamping and cutting out an image also provides a more detailed image, as shown in the Bo-bunny Tree stamps below. This is a simple card finished off with eyelets.
I like the way this card came together with bold Paper, wide ribbon and a soft layered pattern paper to hold the die-cut shape.

Soft Distress
This is my favorite card this month. I was able to play with many tools and mediums and used soft paper from Melissa Francis.
Above are the products I used in this project.

Swedish Easter Branches
In Sweden at Easter time, it is a custom to decorate branches with colored feathers, little eggs and other seasonal items. This is our take on this tradition. Lukas, my 5 year old son did quite a bit of the centerpiece, even the gluing on of the paper die-cuts and he punched out mini flowers with my new mini EK Success flower punch. I helped with the final touches. We are quite happy with the result.
Easter Cards so far...
I have a couple projects on the go at the moment, however can share a couple of this seasons cards. I just wanted to try a few different things.
Easter fold-out garden card
I used similar colors in this card and embossed sections. The 2 layers of ribbon have different textures to add dimension. A simple version of this card could be done without the flowers.
