Distress Stains and Card Class Planning

It is so fun to come up with ideas to use different mediums and tools for classes.  These are a few of the samples I am playing around with right now.  Keep in mind, some of the cards are meant to introduce basic tools and techniques to participants.

Have fun with Pattern papers and do not be afraid to be bold with a variety of pattern papers.  In this Kitchen inspired cards I used paper from Basic Grey.

Distress Stains do not have to be intimidating.  Here I used them as a simple background.  Make sure you let the stain fully dry before you stamp images.

Using distress stain card-stock and them stamping and cutting out an image also provides a more detailed image, as shown in the Bo-bunny Tree stamps below.  This is a simple card finished off with eyelets.

I like the way this card came together with bold Paper, wide ribbon and a soft layered pattern paper to hold the die-cut shape.
